Vollmer Farm, located about 30 minutes east from the Triangle, is a genuine, 5th generation working family farm. As a leader in NC agriculture and agritourism, we offer FANTASTIC school field trip experiences that join together the fun of being out of the classroom and still learning in the process!
SPRING TOUR INCLUDES:
*We have 2 check in times and based on size of groups & number of groups per day the stations can be anywhere from 12-15 minutes each, but Check-in times are not able to be moved! **For large groups of 40 or more students, please plan to arrive at your check in time to ensure we are able to start your first station on time!

[email protected] Registration for Spring Tours typically opens the end of January. If you need to get a date scheduled before our registration opens due to submitting field trips at the beginning of the school year, you can reach out to us and we will work with you!

Both Fall and Spring tours include: Agricultural education programs • Our tours provide an up-close, real farm experience that enables learning and creates a lasting impression on young children. We are excited to partner with you, as we educate about local food, farms, and fun!
A beautiful, open farm with space among all of our play attractions provides a high level of safety and security that our teachers have told us they appreciate. Our acreage is big enough to spread each group out for lunch and play time; to provide your class as much open space as possible while experiencing fun at Vollmer Farm. |
