Pick Your Own

Farmer John is already preparing for our 2010 Strawberry Crop!

Do you know strawberries are one of the "dirty dozen" fruits and vegetables? Environmental Working lists strawberries as a produce it considers important to buy organic because their conventionally grown counterparts tend to be laden with pesticides. So when you're yearning for a sweet, ripe summer strawberry, go organic. It'll be sweeter for the earth, sweeter in your mouth, and sweeter for the health of your family.

Our entire crop for 2009 was either organic or transitional organic (same growing practices, just waiting on paperwork). We welcomed guests to pick their own daily. We are one of the few farms offering organic pick your own berries.

Berries are sold pre-picked as well. 1lb containers are $4.00, 2lb containers are $7.50, and the best deal is a 5lb box for $14, that’s only $2.80 a pound!

Pick-your-own berries are sold by the 5lb bucket for $12, we provide the containers! Recycle and bring them back for $.25 credit per bucket.

Strawberry Satellite Stands are located in the following neighboring towns and are sold in a 5lb box for $14 beginning by 10am and closing when sold out.

"I just wanted to let you know how wonderful your strawberries are... I will never make the mistake of buying them anywhere else when yours are available…I have heard many people in our area commenting on your berries as well. It seems word is out. If you want awesome berries, you gotta go to Vollmer's. Thanks for the great berries."
